2 Bad ones in a row

What's up with me lately? I'll happily tell you. After one bad breakup this month, I was not looking to get involved again. But I met this girl, Amber, and we clicked instantly. So she called me, and our first date was 8 1/2 hours long. It was wonderful, and the chemistry was instant. Two days later we had our second date. At midnight, she was planning our third date. At 1am, as I took her home, she broke up with me. Not for anything I did, but because she was scared of being in a serious relationship. (Yes, normally that line is bullshit, but this time it's not). So I got hit with a double whammy this month. Not too good. I've decided that the main difference between being fat and being skinny is this: When you're fat, you chase the girls and they break your heart. When you're skinny, they chase YOU and break your heart.

So yeah, that's what's up with me. There's a weird twist to this story - as I was moping around online Sunday night, my old friend Sara (late of Microsoft) got in touch with me. She moved back home to Canada a while ago to try and sort out some problems. So I got a really nice surprise when I heard from her on Sunday night. She's much better now, between some good doctoring and some personal growth she's really turning her life around. Of course she's in Winnipeg. So my luck is still pretty shitty.
